With Altria Group’s acquisition of UST Inc., USSTC becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altria Group,
making Altria the owner of the premier tobacco companies in the United States. Altria’s
other operating companies include Philip Morris USA, John Middleton, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Philip Morris Capital Corporation.
